Leasing Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Meeting potential renters and guiding them on tours of available units.
- Following up on leads for potential renters.
- Performing Background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified.
- Preparing Leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations.
- Handling the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees.
- Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues.
- Building a rapport with current tenants to give them personalized service.
- Keeping an eye on community facilities such as mailrooms, fitness centers, laundry rooms and grounds for upkeep and security issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience with a residential property management company (apartment rentals) executing similar residential leasing responsibilities.
- Understanding of basic residential property management terms, principles, and fundamentals.
- Customer service driven, both outside the organization and within the organization.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills are critically essential to success in this position.
- Positive, professional, respectful, courteous and a “can-do” attitude.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software is essential.
- At least 2 years in multi-family housing leasing.
- NAA credentials a plus.
- Preferred bilingual (English & Spanish).
Cleaning Personnel
North Cornwall Commons Apartments is seeking full-time Cleaning Personnel at a new and growing apartment building complex.
Responsibilities:
- Dusting.
- Vacuuming.
- Restroom cleaning.
- Refilling soap dispenser and paper supplies.
- Apartment unit make ready cleaning.
- Carpet cleaning.
- Trash and recycling.
- Other cleaning duties as needed.
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel between various office locations.
- Must be able to physically move through worksites.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
Experience Requirements:
- Prior cleaning and/or carpet cleaning experience a plus, but not required.
